N.I.F.T.A. to host Irish Open
The long awaited Irish Open field target event will be hosted by N.I.F.T.A. in August 2007. The event will be held in the Palace Demense, grounds of Armagh City and District Council. A setup/plinking range will be available from Friday 17th August with the competition taking place over two days Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th August. The event will consist of two 50 target courses.

EVERY SUNDAY at 11:30am on a rotational basis between Loughall and Newry. April-End of September: Informal Club Shoots, MONDAYS at 7:00pm.

N.I.F.T.A. to host Irish Open
The long awaited Irish Open field target event will be hosted by N.I.F.T.A. in August 2007. The event will be held in the Palace Demense, grounds of Armagh City and District Council. A setup/plinking range will be available from Friday 17th August with the competition taking place over two days Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th August. The event will consist of two 50 target courses. Currently there have been expressions of interest from shooters in Russia, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Holland, England, Scotland and Wales and as such N.I.F.T.A. is considering a team event as well as the individual event. The event is open to all shooters. Rifles must be below 12 ftlbs and a chrono will be available.

Please ensure you book early as space in the Armagh area can fill up quickly.
A facility for tents, caravans and motor homes will be available at Loughgall Country Park which is located approx 6 miles from the shooting venue. The Country Park facility has showers, toilets, 18 hole golf course, 37 acre coarse fishery, tennis courts, childrens play area and adventure trail and outdoor green gym trail.
Firearms
Visitors to N Ireland must obtain a visitors permit for all air rifles.
